Gay looner here, and don't usually bother with straight material, but I'm hooked on this. Relatable, well-written and -developed. I like how it taps into that unifying aspect I always found about my attraction for balloons (and men): the smallness and insecurity (main character) positioned beside confidence and control (Christie).
